We've added Shock Wave Therapy to our therapeutic arsenal!
The VersaTron shock wave unit delivers extacorpeal shock wave therapy which is used to treat a number of musculoskeletal disorders in horses and dogs.
Shock waves have been used in the field of human medicine since the 1980’s to treat kidney stones in people and have now been adapted to stimulate the healing process in many difficult to treat lameness conditions.
Shock wave therapy is used in dogs to treat:
- Osteoarthritis in various joints
- Hip dysplasia
- Elbow dysplasia
- Tendon injuries
- Non-union fractures
