Dr. Carroll graduated from Virginia Tech as an Animal Science Major in 1990. In 1993 she graduated from Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. During this time she was an active member of Block and Bridle, Alpha Gamma Rho, Alpha Zeta and Student American Veterinary Medical Association.
After graduation, she worked at a mixed animal practice in Stuart Virginia. In 1996 she relocated to Reidsville, NC with her husband Scott and started focusing exclusively on small animal medicine and surgery. She was instrumental in starting the laser surgery department and helped develop the wellness programs at Reidsville Veterinary Hospital. She is most interested in soft tissue surgery.
In her spare time Dr. Carroll and Scott compete in the American Endurance Riding Conference with their Arabian horses, some of which have been born and raised on their own farm. They also keep a multitude of stray dogs and Border Collies that help keep the horses entertained and protected.
